Premium Vektor makes its input in better organization of the global road safety partnership.

"Rallying together towards sustainable road mobility" was the motto of Challenge Bibendum 2010 - the biggest international event in automotive world that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 29 May to 2 June this year.

This year Road Safety has been made a significant highlight of the whole Challenge Bibendum event.  Challenge Bibendum, initiated by Michelin in 1998, is a concerted effort by pre-eminent players in the automotive world - vehicle manufacturers, technical partners, energy suppliers and research institutes - to provide political and economic decision makers, as well as opinion leaders, with insights and in-depth understanding on the latest advanced vehicle technology.

 For the first time the GRSP (Global Road Safety Partnership) was invited to take part in the Challenge Bibendum event.  Apart from participating in debates on road safety and presenting a display at the international exhibition, GRSP also held its annual meetings - in Rio de Janeiro and in San Jose dos Campos - to sum up the results of road safety international programs and partnerships achieved in more than 20 countries around the world and to define the steps forward.  

Premium Vektor Company made its contribution to this world event by providing organizational and logistical support to GRSP in preparation for the event. From London, the Managing director of the Company was coordinating interaction among GRSP offices in Geneva, Malaysia, China, Budapest, Brazil and ensured successful communication with some 100 GRSP members and guests from all continents. The Company thanks Andrew Pearce, GRSP Chief Executive, for the opportunity to assist in preparation for this international event held on the eve of the Global Decade for Road Safety announced by the UN.
